Well, this is me. The trouble with being self taught is that you only learn what you need to. So you have frequent returns to the drawing board as and when you need to know more stuff. It's a bit like Project Based Learning. But you get a lot more done. And you can change your mind if you don't enjoy something. But then you don't get no certificates. No sir. That pretty well forces you to be an entrepreneur. No one will ever employ you. Now that's another good thing.
I cut my own hair. I had to when I was on extended cruising. No barbers. So I taught myself the old 2, 4 and 5 on the electric cutters. But nothing else. So for the Peaky Blinders cut I had to invent a new system.
